The early years of school are the formative ones and of vital importance in ensuring that students learn to challenge themselves and to achieve all that they are capable of. At St Michael’s we have made it our mission to provide quality Catholic education for our students in a caring and supportive environment.
As a Catholic school serving the parish area of Baulkham Hills, we believe that education must be tailored to meet the learning needs of individual students at all ability levels. Our curriculum is dynamic, challenging and diverse. Our teaching professionals provide guidance and encouragement to help all students reach their full potential.
At St Michael’s we help our students develop spiritually and socially and our dedicated staff offer students the opportunity to actively participate in parish and social justice activities.
St Michael’s responds to the needs of its students in a rapidly changing world and the value and dignity of each individual student is reflected in the promotion of self-esteem, self-discipline and responsibility.
I encourage you to read through this website with your child to discover more about the beliefs, facilities and learning programs St Michael’s has to offer. I look forward to welcoming you into our school community and to sharing the primary school years with you and your family.
Please contact us for more information about enrolling your child.

Dear Parents
Many thanks to the Parent and Friends Association for the donation of funds that will be used to purchase reading resources for children in Year 3 – 6 and funds that have been directed to the purchase of a new barbeque. The meeting held on Monday was attended by five people plus the P&F executive. From the responses to the survey sent last term I would have imagined that people who indicated that a night meeting was their preference would have been in attendance. Our guest speaker gave a very detailed description of how the reading resources will be put to good use.
On Monday staff will gather at St Joseph’s Spirituality Centre for a day of faith renewal. Please keep us in your prayers on this day.
If anyone would like to assist with the evaluation of the School Policies, please contact me. The policies are riveting reading. There are 56 policies in total.
A member of staff unfortunately witnessed an incident on Tuesday that could have resulted in an accident. A parent parked their car on the zebra crossing while another person alighted the car with a child and walked the child into the school grounds and then returned. Thank goodness there was not an accident. Please obey rules that have a relationship to road safety.
Thought for the week
